A good chunk of the injuries this year are rooted in poor time management.

hill averaged 16 mins.

nash average 32

pau averaged 37 min

blake averaged 26

All the most injured people. Only person you could say got hurt by over playing is kobe and that was mainly kobe's decision to play that much.

You need Nash next season.
Set great screens, when healthy and playing appropriate minutes , he is deadly.

We really just need speed on the wing. If you could get Ariza, with Blake, Clark, Jamison and Hill, you have something.

Nash could play with that group to start the 2nd.

All Nash did this year is turn the ball over and get torched on defense each and every game. You can count on one hand how many "great" games Nash had this year.

The Pacers would have to throw in another player or two to make salaries work.

Wouldn't suck, the Lakers were fixing to draft him anyway.

But I doubt that they would wanna part with him.  I'd think it would be someone on Mahinmi's kind of level. or Ben Hansbrough and a second round pick - something like that.

Pau is not a PF he is capable of playing PF because his skills set but he is really a Center. Plus they have David West

Re-sign Goudelock

Let Meeks go so you can save the MLE

use the MLE to get Martell Webster and you solve the wing and 3 problem.

Webster > Ebanks

Sign Barbosa to vets minimum as the Wizards likely let him go.

Thats about the best we can hope for.

That's a start.

You don't let go of Metta unless you find a suitable replacement for him and for Jamison.

Webster is good, but he isn't gonna be starting.

You don't let go of Metta unless you're getting a quality starter as well as someone to replace Jamison.  And you're getting neither unless you trade Gasol.

Yes get rid of Metta and acquire "suitable replacement." Jamison can stay if he signs for vet min again.
