D'Antoni said in addition to LAL's top 4 guards being out, @MettaWorldPeace was "dragging his leg" out there. Had knee drained yesterday.

MWP, 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 blocks, really?

Is the end of our most entertaining player off the court near?

MWP apparently had a dead leg due to the injury flaring up.
Apparently could barely lift it and was dragging it a lot on the court, but kept trying to play.
D'antoni sat him the entire 2nd half because he couldn't move it or do anything with it.

Metta came back way too soon.  Tried, but it got to the point he could no longer lift his leg, could only drag it.  So he sat for the entire 2nd half.

Pretty apparent he came back too soon.

Sad to see.

Nice to see that these guys(Metta and Nash) rushed back cause they WANT to help and because we lack depth in other places but Metta being out there barely being able to stand let alone walk is hard to watch.

Get some rest Peace.

I get the defense of his injury and not being 100% and I commend him for at least trying, but the bottomline is even when he was fully healthy and in his "best shape ever", he still usually just wasn't that good. Far too much of a liability more often than not. Like the guy as a person and he seems chill, but it is what it is.

Yeah ive been a big fan of mwp, but he needs to go. I understand kobe respects how competitive he is, but the money can be better spent elsewhere (along with the roster space).

even at his worst he wasn't THAT bad.   He was at least always good for 15 a game even when playing bad.

This him that's barely able to get up and down the court isn't even a shell of him at his worst here.

He needs some rest.   It's not even just offensively where it kills him, if he can't walk it's gonna kill him defensively too.

So he needs to get some rest and recharge.

I commend him for trying to play through this injury so close after surgery but he's harming himself.

If anything he should rest and force Jamison and Clark to play more minutes so we can see if they're worth bringing back next year(Jamison I know isn't) so it should be Clark's time to shine.   He isn't so far.

He's done, just like this team was once we all found out that Parker and Ginobili were healthy enough to beat our asses.

I believed in us, thinking that Gino would miss the first round, and Parker was hobbled...but, well, nope...not how the dice rolled.

Sit him down then. Why are you playing him Mike? IDIOT!!! He's not that great when fully healthy and then he's almost practically useless when hurt so clearly he's not gonna' help us especially right now, why try & further destroy yet another one of our players? This coach is just MAD! COMPLETELY MAD!

I haven't watched Brewer much, but he scores and defends better than MWP.
