Westbrook had successful surgery.

Unfortunately he's going to "officially" be out for the "playoffs" now.

And why is everyone assuming that the Heat's biggest problem is the Thunder?

With injuries to the Pacers and Bulls there's not a whole lot of competition in the East. The team I thought had the best chance of knocking Miami out in the East was Indiana, but it's not looking as likely anymore. However, San Antonio could do some damage if they make it to the NBA finals, but we'll have to wait and see.

Memphis looks like a title contender this year. I think they could legitimately challenge the Heat.

I agree. Theyre physical, can play defense, and they got the advantage in the post with zbo and gasol.

Same problem as several potential "contenders", they won't have enough offense if & when they run into them.

Pretty simple westbrook went down and KD decided to ball. He is averaging 33/8/6 on 49% from the field and that includes him having a bad series from 3. This guy is a superstar and he is gonna show it this post season.

Memphis probably could.

The Heat have no rebounding and Randolph and Gasol on the inside would make a lot of "one and dones" for the Heat.

The Heat would probably much rather play a team like the Warriors or a team like the Spurs instead of Memphis.

Strictly because Memphis has rebounding.

I will say this though.

If Memphis beats the thunder, they can beat the Heat.
