Oh my, last guy I expected to go down in the postseason. I hear there was a play with Patrick Beverley that caused this, didn't see the game. Must have been bad.

He clipped him when he was trying to go for a steal, before West called a timeout

Damn, pretty crazy. Never thought he'd get injured. I wish a good recovery. Imagine if we still had Kobe.

I knew it was coming, just didn't know when. Now with Westbrook out, we can what Durant is really made of.

I bet now the Lakers wish they were #8 seed.

Kevin Durant has a record of 19-61 without Russell Westbrook (hasn't played without him since 2008) -- http://bit.ly/15AfWuJ

it wasn't dirty but it was just a needless play. They were gonna call timeout, why even reach for the ball going through a dude's knees...like seriously

It's possible they could make minor repairs to it, and if so he could play in 2-4 weeks. All depends on the procedure.

dat Metta recovery

tearing your meniscus doesn't really affect explosiveness, it's more just pain. your knees are still stable cuz all the ligaments are all in tact, but cuz that cushion is torn, the bones can bump and rub against each other.
