the bench will be a ghost town...d12 and gasol will atleast have to put up 40 pts each to even keep pace with the spurs.

One good thing about this season is that it is preparing us for post Kobe era.

If the Lakers are smart and don't try to foolishly cobble a team together next season to make a championship run centered around a guy that may not play and if he does is coming off an achilles injury, they will take their medicine next season for the terrible contracts they gave out, let them expire and have a ton of money going into an incredibly deep free agency class in 13-14 and be right back on top.  Just have to take it for one season.

He is even struggling here in the Turkish league and we have the Black Machine. Machines are 3pt experts who cant hit wide open 3's so Meeks is the Black Machine to me.

Not really..we had a great player to watch(kobe) for almost the entire season, even at his age we still got to witness a guy like Kobe Bryant and what that means.

I'm not sure if you remember MJ ,Larry and magic past their prime, but great players always have great moments and Kobe is no exception.

This is more like 4-6 seasons we had here with kobe..His 1st three years, the year after the three-peat, and the 3 years after Shaq left.

it is really no different. One of those years we missed the playoffs when Lamar and Kobe missed almost all of the last 20 games

Starting backcourt Darius Morris and Chris Duhon. Best backcourt in the D- league.

fixed

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

RT @Lakers: D’Antoni says Steve Nash is a game-time decision for Game 3: “He feels a lot better & wants to see what the day brings.

please don't play him, please

MDA will more than likely force him to play one way or another Blondie.

This thread is most funniest one so far. Everyone got jokes lines about this team, players, season, etc.. At least we can laugh at our own lost..

Who would of ever thought that the Lakers could possibly had a starting backcourt of Morris - Goudelock in a playoff game?
