@LakersReporter 1h

"Game-time decision," as Mike D'Antoni called Jodie Meeks (ankle), seems appropriate. Meeks is going to test out the ankle in a moment.

@LakersReporter 1h

If Meeks is having trouble moving, there's a chance he won't play. Of course he'd like to, but we'll have to see how the ankle feels.

Mike D'Antoni said he may very well use Hill in limited fashion tonight, depending on how the game goes. Meeks (ankle) is a ? mark.

Wow....

This means Morris likely gets those minutes, or Goudelock if Morris plays bad, defensively I don't expect him to though.

Official: Jodie Meeks (sprained L ankle) is OUT tonight. Look for Goudelock/Morris to play minutes at backup 2. Blake will start.

Blake shouldn't start at the 2, I'd rather have Morris there instead at this point.

@LakersReporter 14m

Jodie Meeks is dressed and on the court for warm ups; he's not moving well... stay tuned.

@LakersReporter 12m

Meeks (left ankle sprain) limped around for a minute, and walked straight back to the locker room.

Blake is a better option to start at 2.  Let Morris come off the bench at 2 and slide Blake over to the 1.

In all honesty, he's been a non-factor for a while now.

Although, Goudelock/Morris will have to start playing much more, and Earl Clark especially needs to step up.

If he doesn't, Hill might take some of his minutes.

These young bench players really need to step up. Theres a fine line between getting another contract next season and no longer playing in the NBA for guys like Goudelock or Morris and Ebanks( though I think his fate may be sealed lol). A guy like Clark can help or hinder his next contract by his playoff performance. Hills signed till next year and coming back from injury so you can't really judge him. When Meeks comes back he needs to bring it as the team has a option on him. These guys can have a impact on the future of their careers by how good or bad they play in these playoffs. The majority of these guys probably won't see enough playing time to effect it that much. You take your chances when they come though and make the most of it. Let's see who rises to the occasion.
