Two Mikes - Woodson and D'Antoni - have been named NBA coaches of the month for April.

Well deserved. Lakers went 7-1. They were 1 game back of making the playoffs I believe to start the month. Finished 1 game ahead. Jazz were red hot I think they went 9-3 in their last 12

20-8 since all-star break, 9-1 in last 10, 5-0 to close the season against playoff opponents.
Kobe deserves player of the month too.

Well deserved, he made huge adjustments and finally he coached this team.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Kobe made the most crucial one to be honest.

Who wouldn't win coach of the month at least ONCE by playing Kobe without rest.

Pincus said if you'll give all the credit to the players for winning then you should give them the credit for losing, I think things turned out right for MA, yeah kobe had the long hand on this but 7-1 is a good record, well deserved though it was awkward having MA and coach of the month in the same sentence ..

Too bad he couldn't be coach of the year though so he could get fired for sure.

Blind hate for the win...

I guess Kobe deserves credit for the last 2 wins also?  Against the Spurs and Rockets?

^ He does actually. If it weren't for Kobe, Pau wouldn't be what he's been for this long stretch now including these last two games.

I say it there and it comes out here...

How about everyone saying Nash made MDA what he was?  And how MDA couldn't win without him?  Credit to Kobe also?

Well done MDA. You win as a team and lose as a team. While Kobes play along with our whole team stepping up played a big part in this, a coach will always get credit whether deserved or not. While I would prefer another coach I think has done ok since the AS break.
