Who the [expletive] is saying it'll SOLVE our problems? We have WAY too many issues and that'd be stupid. We're simply saying he could help and bring some things that clearly most our guys don't have, like the ability to create their own shot, plus he's not exactly a liability on the defensive end either.

But why have every team dismissed him? We are overhyping him as a fan base.

If we had kobe we could have dominated the spurs. Our defense is finally looking great and were just missing the scoring.

If we had Kobe. Our defense would look bad.

Just need to hit outside shots. Need Nash to hit his usual 50%. Need at least two of the following to hit some of those open 3s: Jodie, Blake, Jamison, Metta, Clark. 30-35 points from those guys combined should be reasonable. 40 from Dwight/Pau combined. 10-15 from Nash. That should be enough to keep us competitive at least, hopefully get a few loose balls to go our way. If we can't do that, gonna be a short series.

Also need Dwight to be aggressive. There were a couple possessions he had Bonner on him and didn't even make a move, just kicked it out.

Really wish we had Kobe. I'd like our chances very much with him in this series.

Gotta keep the turnovers down (Spurs got 12 extra FGA's) and convert on open looks. Spurs broke the game open once they started to knock down 3's and that was the separation in the score:

  • Lakers 3PT: 3-15
  • Spurs 3PT: 7-22

Those 4 extra 3's equal out to 12 points and we lost by 11. Not as bad considering we turned the ball over 18 times leading to 14 points.

I hope that the Spurs keep leaving Nash as open as they have today going forward :)

This. Nash will bounce back no doubt. We just got to find a way to keep it closer throughout in game 2. I liked our defensive effort today we just need to hit more shots.

Kobe is not the main reason our defense sucks at times. A lot of the times you watch and think he's cheating on his defenders he's really not. Sometimes he does, yes. But a lot of times he's helping out down low. Our offense would be infinitely better with him and you know his leadership and drive would give us a great chance to win this series. So don't deny it because you know it's true.

Like Real Deal said, "This team does not have an identity". We don't know what the [expletive] we're doing. We have a coach who doesn't know what the [expletive] to do. Pretty much it.

We can't do two things correctly. We can't do things on a consistent basis. The only thing consistent we had was Kobe Bryant, and now he's gone. We don't know what Lakers team is going to show up. We either play defense and [expletive] up on offense, or we do good on offense and not play a lick of defense.

We either go through Gasol and Howard then we go back to jacking up 3's. WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING?!

I have an entire season worth of stats minus 2 games to back up that factual claim.

Stats minuses are not eligible to back up any "factual claim". They don't tell the whole story.

You know what, while we're at it, why don't you post Hollinger's PER numbers as well to prove your point?

Pop is going to thrash D'Antoni and put on a coaching clinic this first round. This is not going to be pretty.

Duncan was bricking bunnies and layups in the conference finals last season. I saw him play like he was 26 today.
