D'Antoni has been EXPOSED! He won't get another job after we fire him.

That's what people said about Mike Brown, but league perception of coaches is vastly different than fans. I guarantee you if MDA goes, he will be back in some coaching form eventually.

D'Antoni could get a shot with a much different type of personnel. Our roster of players & preferred style just doesn't suit him.

I don't like D'Antoni but I do think he learned a LOT coaching Kobe.

I think it would be counter productive to not give him training camp and some time following that next season...

aWho in here is aware of the 2014 plan.

So no matter what we want of Kobe, I'm not sure even Phil could have made this team from 7th place to contender..I can't see that, but after next season, it isn't about Kobe anymore

by that time, Kobe will be what Garnett and Pierce are. Whereas he can collect rings but he won't be the story or it won't be about his 6th ring as much s it will be about Dwight stepping up, which he is about the age where basketball players take a relization that they won't be playing forever.

You guys are forgetting that all it took to get Mike Brown out was this:

No explanations, no alibis, no stats, no [expletive]. This explained everything, and hopefully Dwight does something similar if D'Antoni [expletive]s up next season.

RIP Dad. I miss you so very much...

Our history of winning doesn't suit MDA.

Won't matter - an NBA team will never, can't and won't win the ring with D'Antoni.

Why you guys are so hellbent on keeping him around or defending him at every turn is beyond me.  Apparently I (and a bunch of other Laker fans) have been watching a completely different Laker team and coach than you guys.

Raise your standards demand better from your team.  This making excuses for mediocrity and worse and settling for just making the playoffs kind of attitude is unacceptable.  Does winning not matter to some of you any more?

What is with this ridiculous pad given to D'Antoni by some of you?!

I was done with Mike D'antoni when he said "there are no adjustments to be made" in his postgame interview that was almost as bad as Stan Vangundys "Experience doesn't matter" comment....... How they became coaches at the NBA level with those types of attitudes is beyond me.
