I hope Steve Nash Comes back in this series.Steve said there's a good chance he'll play in game 1. I hope he comes back. He is an important piece to the team. I hope he will destroy the Spurs like did in this game against the Spurs in the Playoffs. Anybody remember this?

Can't this somehow be merged with this thread:

http://lakernation.c...ies-discussion/

?

and of course most importantly just have the poll included in it?

I think that'd be more proper & organized.

I was hoping so too... Would be much better... Maybe the Mods can do something.

I think Nash's return will do great for our offence, I feel like we would be playing a lot more pick and roll now. Which is great.

This is what I was thinking and hoping for. If Nash were to run the offense with gasol and howard, and we truly do the inside outside game with nash pulling the strings we can have a pretty stellar offense. The thing is it comes down to defense, our offense this year while at times might of looked stagnant it was still solid, if we cant get stops though we are doomed.

The fact that we are not going to face the biggest laker killer Russell Westbrook should inspire this team.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

For sure this is going to be a tough series to win!! We're talking about a total TEAM in the Spurs in every sense of the word where the Lakers have just started to play cohesively for the last few weeks. I think it all comes down to Dwight outplaying Timmy D and minimizing TO's. Ginobili is back too so that's some big time pop off the bench. They cannot continue to fall in love with that damn 3 point line either. Go to Dwight on first pass then swing the ball! If they can play the RIGHT way we got a fighting chance but if the mistakes like I saw vs Houston occur we'll be fishing quickly.  :fishing:

True! (2Chainz voice) I think it comes down to inside out game. They really need to have the first pass go to Dwight or Pau in the post, then swing. Defense is what I think will derail this team. I really hope D12 carries us on his back and dominates but 1 awesome defender is not enough. But this is why the games must be played...

Steve Blake better be ready for Tony Parker. He got revenge when we blew out the Spurs last year - If he has a bad game, he comes out very motivated and effective next time we play, and obviously playoffs just add to that. Spurs will also run a ton of the time...They're not OKC but I've seen them run a lot. Artest will not be guarded for a minute in the entire series, and that really scares me. He's not shy about shooting, no matter how bad he is that day, and that could really kill us when Pau/Dwight get doubled off of him.
