I don't think Mitch Kupchak would of went through all that trouble in resigning Ebanks and keeping Morris just so they could be practice players....i was under the assumption that he wanted to keep them because they could be parts that would help the Lakers in the playoffs wouldn't you?

Ebanks and morris dont even make a combined 2 mill so yea thats practice squad. Is it so shocking to you that teams sign scrub players to just be practice squad. I mean who on this entire forum actually thought morris or ebanks was gonna do [expletive] this season. This offseason I was agaisnt both player being anythign more than practice squad cuz I knew they were scrubs.

I mean look at any team and you will find the same type of players like morris or ebanks on any roster. Cheap scrubs that are just there for practice.

I'm sure more than half of the members on this forum had high hopes for ebanks but unfortunely it didn't turn out that way.

The SPurs signed McGrady out of desperation cause after losing to us they realized they may have made a mistake getting rid of Jackson.

So they are hoping he has a LITTLE left.

We aren't that desperate.

They did it to match up against us if we make the playoffs and play them in the first round.

McGrady isn't dealing with Artest or Clark and is playing terribly against international players, is on his last legs as well and could be injured at any turn so.... why would we get him?

For as much as some of you complain about the age of this team, the inconsistencies of our older players and how some have been injured the fact that some of you actually want Tracy McGrady NOW makes me chuckle a little.

Its not only that hes old its just that he doesn't do a lot of things that we need right now. You got Clark/Jamison/MWP playing SF and theres just no spot for him

It's not the age, it's the fact that T-Mac has nothing left to give.

He would've been no help here and he won't help the Spurs either.

I wonder how many loyal fans if any are left in the Tracy McGrady fanclub or AI for that matter too.

^ Miami's probably taking him next season. He will miraculously heal & dominate for them helping them to obliterate everyone once again.

^ Nah, much more unlikely imo. This was supposed to be his once & for all comeback season with Minny and it just didn't work out. He's done for sure now.
