http://blacksportson...in-recent-poll/

Some polls had Romney becoming President in a landslide, so you have to take most polls with a grain a salt. I am not saying Heat fans aren’t good fans, but there are still plenty of good seats available when the Heat play and frankly many of the Heat fans are just transplanted LeBron Fans.

With that being said, here is what the poll had to say about Heat Fans.

The Brand Keys Sports Fan Loyalty Index interviews fans in the media markets of all 30 NBA teams to provide a direct comparison of each fan base. Besides win-loss record, the survey includes things like “authenticity,” “fan bonding,” and “history and tradition.”

Miami Heat fans came in No. 1 this year, up from No. 6 in 2012. We replace last year’s most loyal fans, the San Antonio Spurs, who fell to No. 2. The New York Knicks, Boston Celtic, and the tied fan bases of the Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder round out the top five.

Miami Heat fans are loyal... :smh: What kind of a poll is this? If you want to see loyal fans, go to Cleveland, Golden State, Sacramento, Seattle (even though they don't have a team).

Most loyal post summer of 2010 maybe. Let's replace Mario Chalmers and Chris Bosh with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown and then see what happens.

I would say the most loyal fans wold be OKC. They have the college team atmosphere  Really respect how that small market team has such a great fan base. idk how well it will be when Durant and westrook arent there but that probably wont be for a long time.

I can't even see how that's true. Don't they still not sell out every game?

Bobcats fans. No question, anyone who has been a fan of that team is the most loyal, hands down lol.

I remember pre-LeBron how they'd struggle to even sell lower bowl seats. They would rope off whole areas during regular season games. Hell, this is from a year ago:

50-60% of the Heat arena used to be empty before "the decision", so that statement makes no sense at all. The Heat fans are mostly band-wagoners and they even realize and accept this fact.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever
