A must win game for this both team, I think this 2 team doesn't want to face the OKC in the playoffs or else first round playoffs exit meanwhile if the lakers won against this team they might secure the 7th seed and lock playoffs spot.

Should be a game 7-like intensity, especially from our side. No excuses, no nothing, lay it all out on the court for a full 48 minutes. No spurts or lapses as we've done for most of the season. Ain't nobody got time for that.

So it's probably safe to say it's very likely the free throw disparity will be hugely in our favor once again considering Houston loves to shoot 3s much-like Golden State and doesn't prioritize inside play nearly as much as us.

It's a more entertaining first round if lakers are playing SAS and Houston faces OKC.

^ It really is. Not just speaking as a Laker fan, but from a basketball fan perspective, the styles compliment each other better that way for all teams involved. Plus the NBA loves storylines and you know damn well they'd talk a novel out of the James Harden OKC dynamic.

I kinda hope Utah wins. Would make this game HUGE if it were win or go home. Plus maybe extra motivation, if Utah loses LA may not have that little extra edge to get the 7 seed because they'll know they're safe. I don't know, just my opinion.

we should be more worried about the playoffs than getting the 7th seed. no way anyone should root for the jazz to win.

I agree with this. We need to play our hearts out tonight. And a utah win might give us that extra something we need.

Like most of us, I'll support our Lakers no matter who they play with all my heart. But in my mind, I'll know we have a chance against SA & none against OKC.

I'm not necessarily rooting for the Jazz to win, like of course if they lost I'd be happy and relieved, I just think this game would be way more epic if the season was on the line. If they can't beat Houston in a one game series at home with everything riding on it, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. As a fan, it would be a lot more fun if it were a "double or nothing" situation. 7th seed, or bounced.

The Spurs are banged up and completely out of rhythm now, if you hear the way Duncan and Pop are talking after games they seem in disarray. Stephen Jackson, a locker room fav, was recently waived and they still have 2 of their three best players hurt (Parker and Ginobli). If the Lakers have any chance of advancing to the next round, it's against the Spurs.
