Lakers' season, as usual, hinges on medical results: Steve Nash (hamstring/hip) had MRI today. Results expected tomorrow.

I'm really starting to believe that we have had the worst luck out of any team in the league. The only team that comes close is Minnesota.

No wonder he didn't want to leave Phoenix last few years even though they stunk. If it weren't for the medical staff this dude cant get on the court

I don't know what it is about Phoenix medical staff but they have managed to keep Grant Hill, Steve Nash and Shaq when they in Phoenix.... Must be that cactus juice

Honestly wouldn't doubt if he retires after this season. He probably should.

Nash (hamstring) is currently listed as doubtful for the Lakers' final regular-season game Wednesday vs. Houston.

Why is this bad?

Nash off the bench would be nice.. but honestly I wouldn't want Nash starting defending Lin.  Morris and Blake seem to cause him more issues defensively than Nash would.

And if Blake and Morris can keep Lin out of it and force Harden to have to do all the work  that's good for us.  The problem is we don't have anyone that can really "defend" Harden but at least we'd know with Blake we can at least probably stop Lin,

^ I agree. Lakers should ride the Blake hot streak.

Yes they are dude...Gary Vitti is a legend in the athletic training world. The staff is wonderful, they work into the early morning if needed. They're responsible for helping Kobe get to where he is, and slowly getting DH back into form. As bad as the team has been this year, you can always count on the training staff.

^ Yeah, but Phoenix seems to have a better track record in recent years with glaring examples (some mentioned) & as I've said before, we tend to live in a what have you done for me lately world so with that being said especially, advantage Phoenix.

yo.

There is a reason Phoenix Sun's training staff is widely known and famous and is talked about as one of the best. Sun's have a better training staff. Not saying Lakers have a bad one, they have a great one, but not as good as the Sun's

^ Los Angeles is known for having the better one.  Players that have played in Phoenix and on the Lakers have said this ;)

Nash especially ;)

Can't just keep blaming "bad luck" with Mitch and Jim loaded the roster with aging talent.
