Well, let's just hope that Goudelock has not only lost weight, but also improved on his defense... but on D'Antoni's team, he should fit right in!

Goudelock apparently impressed with his new physique

Goudelock looks slimmed down. Says he's lost 15 lbs since last being with the Lakers. Dedicated training and low D-League pay helped.

LAL signed Goudelock because he can create - and make - his own shot on the perimeter. May be needed w/Kobe (and Nash) out.

If he could manage to be a combo guard for us we'd be fine what I mean is if he can play the 1 and 2 compotently then he'll be a nice pickup. Seems to have advanced his game abit but again we'll see if it's "enough" to translate in the NBA. He's obviously no slouch anymore if him and CDR were the best in the NBDL and were both all-stars.

I'm willing to bet if he was the same as his rookie year he wouldn't be the other dleague MVP candidate with CDR. Let's see what he does.

I've always liked Steve Blake.

Yeah him and D'antoni will already hit it off just fine

@mcten
Goudelock on his quick D'Antoni-led Lakers crash course: "They said if you don’t shoot, he gets mad. That’s right up my alley."

Unsure if D'antoni will play him with no practice.

If D'antoni chooses to play him he can.

I just dunno if he will, without a practice.

Goudelock is gonna be practicing with us for the next 3 days. That's a good amount of time to get a little acclimated. I fully understand why he didn't play tonight.

Yeah it is, makes you sort of figure if Gasol hit all those shots he was getting whenever he wanted(but missed) that we'd probably have blown them out.

I think Nash should come off the bench when he returns if we are in the playoffs, starting Blake for defensive purposes especially when he pretty much fits perfectly with what we would want Nash to do so bringing Nash off the bench saves his legs but can also give us full benefit of his scoring ability.

I'm sure he can defend bench 1s better than starting 1s.

Like I said, when Nash "gets it" in off-ball skill and synergy with Dwight i have no problem starting him, but till then saving his legs and bringing him along off the bench is beneficial to both sides.

Goudelock pissed and motivated by people getting call ups from the d-league before him

@KevinDing

In step with "Mini-Mamba" mentality, @0goudelock venting right now about D-League promotions before him: "I just killed this guy yesterday."

Eh.

Let's see how that translates in the NBA.

Trade for Austin Rivers, say, Hill & Johnson.
