I think there's some behind the scene issues with Ebanks.

He got put in the dog house by Mike Brown too so it's not just D'Antoni.

It HAS to be some behind the scenes issues with him. I mean he can't even get garbage time minutes! Usually I would root for the guy to get a chance, but ever since his negative remarks from earlier in the season I could care less.

After a time yeah he did.

But I remember early in the season and pre-season Mike Brown played Ebanks over Meeks and people were saying how stupid it was, so I guess I find it funny how opinion changes when someone is rotting on the bench.

I do remember D'antoni giving Ebanks a few gametime burns particularly in New York and Washington. But it seems ever since Clark's emergence Ebanks has all but vanished.

He's probably just still extremely immature and it rightfully so rubs people & more importantly coaches, the wrong way. I think Kobe probably tried taking him under his wing for a while, but either Ebanks stopped listening to him & rebeled much like the Kareem Bynum dynamic or he just never really wanted to hear it from him to begin with. Either way if so, huge mistake to say the least.

yo.

Ebanks is too focused on his rap album to be worrying about getting into the rotation.

And the guy posts way too many pictures of himself on Instagram. Slightly weird.

Loved the guy...hated when we let him go, because he simply did not get a fair shake. We could have used him half-way through the season to give us much needed depth that we didn't have.

Must send a bad message to guys like Morris and Duhon...It's like, even though you were with the team the entire year, you're just not good enough, and we're going to use this D-League guy who hasnt spent a minute on the team.

Neither Morris nor Duhon is better than Blake/Kobe/Nash at the 1 nor Meeks or Goudelock at the 2. Not when we're past the "experiment" phase.

Explain me this. We were in desperate need of a wingman, a perimeter defender but because we chose to sign Ebanks at the beginning of the year we did not sign anyone else. And when Ebanks proved he is trash, we did not sign anyone because we did not want to "waste" money. Eventually Kobe was forced to play full games and got injured. Not singing another wingman cost us our beloved Mamba and we ended up singing a player who was a failed experiment for us in the past and got cut. If not signing anyone was all about finances, does this team benefit financially with the loss of Kobe and eventually signing a player?

Front office = Epic Fail.
