Basketball isn't one-on-one matchups on the defensive end.

Nope and we played wonderful team defense today.

Two things though on the defensive end.

Wes shouldn't be defending 4s, and Meeks shouldn't be defending 2s bigger than him.

Iggy torched Meeks all night and Lee was able to overpower Wes no matter how hard Wes tried.

Have Wes defend other 3s and you're golden.   Never put Meeks on Iggy again lol

BUT HEY if it hadn't happened, Xavier wouldn't have been able to show out the way he did so obviously :D

I'm glad we found out these things in the first game.

We shouldn't try to make Wes defend 4s, keep him at the 3 or 2(him defending Iggy next time instead of Meeks would be ideal)

And we also saw Xavier Henry stand out extremely cause of how great he did and how bad Meeks did.

It didn't take us 3 games to figure this out =P It took 1, and that 1 was a victory lol  So it all worked out eventually lol

^ Yeah, you're right, but it still doesn't take away completely from how stupid it is at face value to have Jodie Meeks guard Andre Iguodala.

Kobe Bryant: ''This Is How You Come Back'' - CCTV Presentation

''It feels like everything comes to a stop. It's an injury that a lot of people have lost their careers on... I had to look in the mirror and ask 'Kobe what are you going to do?' ... This is a great opportunity to come out and show everybody this is how you bounce back, this is how you respond to a challenge.'' -Kobe Bryant

Kobe's never going to be 100%.  Hasn't been for years now.

i disagree. i think he was close to 100% for most of last season, at least prior to that "play the whole game streak" .

he hasnt dunked the ball like he did last year,in a couple years.

last year - we saw 100% kobe

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

Kobe is back from Germany and will be with the team tonight in Ontario, according to Ramona Shelburne.

Kobe interview on the latest in his recovery from earlier in the game tonight:

''When I come back I want to make sure I'm at 100%. It's about getting that range of motion back where I feel like I can run comfortably - the last stage is the explosiveness and muscle endurance and that'll come.''

''I feel good. I feel like I'm ahead of schedule'' -Kobe Bryant

6 months after a complete Achilles tear and he's running.

He's 35 years old.

17 seasons in the league.

This will not be talked about by anybody, but the significance of this is far greater than the recognition it will receive.
