China, Italy, Paris(?).Dodgers gaem...

Kobe must be feeling good b/c he's traveling like it's nothing.

I'm even more optomistic now.

Kobe reacted so well to Germany, and it didn't do the same to McGrady and Arenas

We can rebuild him, we have the technology. I'm very happy to see Kobe doing so well.

Good to hear that Kobe is doing well and is way ahead of schedule. Can't wait for the dunk on Howard. ;)

Insane man just insane, but again, this is Kobe Bryant we're talking about here. We've seen craziness from him time & time again, perhaps arguably not to this level, but still. Smh at a bunch of Laker fans including many posting here doubting him so much. Haven't you guys learned anything from watching him for so long (assuming you have)? edbassmaster would even have to psh that.

yo.

If anything I believe this injury has just motivated Kobe to prove haters and doubters wrong which he mentioned. We all know his drive and determination are second to none. However I think this comeback from the Achilles injury has reinvigorated and fuelled his desire to continue to play at a high level. He has a further challenge to overcome now. Not only does he want to win another ring/s, but he wants to prove he can come back from a career ending injury and do it. I believe this injury is a defining moment in Kobes career. It either ends it or it inspires him to the finish. Whatever happens, I will back him to the end.

I'm beginning to think this whole thing may just add to his legend.

I'm not saying that Kobe will be in the starting lineup in game one, but if he is (without rushing things), then I would consider this one of the most impressive comeback in major sports.

It's important to remember that we are still three long months away from the season.  He's obviously ahead of schedule so it's good news, just gotta keep hoping for more positive news coming from his recovery.

Let's hope he doesn't go bowling.

the injury plus Dwight leaving in the off-season basically saying "The Lakers can't win a championship in Kobe's final years"

Even in his Rockets presser he said things like "Kobe's getting older, and... " and then he trailed off.  He basically called Kobe old and said the Lakers couldn't win a championship even if he'd stayed, doubted the front office as well.

That had to be a motivating factor.

Dwight has single handedly pissed off, insulted and motivated both Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash in the same off-season.

I've always liked Steve Blake.
