I'm not surprised that Kobe is ahead of schedule but 3 months is just insane! He definitely isn't human.

And there's no way he will be playing 35-40 minutes a game when he returns. Kobe knows he will be 35 and needs to save up all his energy for when it matters most.

Chris Broussard is now on ESPN trying to say that

"Sources close to me say Kobe is slightly ahead of schedule but not 3 months ahead of schedule he's still gonna be back by January or February.  I know Kobe told CDR that he's 3 months ahead of schedule but he's not a doctor.  Sources close to me say it's really like this."

Yeah Chris...trust your "sources" over what KOBE .. THE MAIN SOURCE... actually tells someone he mentors...

You're a freaking clown.

^ He almost lost it when he made comments against Jason Collins and the rainbow movement, but lucky for him ESPN liked him enough to ignore it.

Well to be fair guys, I'm not sure how Kobe is ahead 3 months considering he just suffered the injury three months ago

Kobe is probably ahead of schedule, I won't doubt that but how much ahead is the question.

As for Chris Broussard, unless his source is Kobe's doctor, then why the hell is he commenting on this situation?

By 3 months, I'm sure Kobe means 3 months ahead of his projected return date of 6-9 months.

I read somewhere that he will be ready for full activity in August. Yes, August.

Whoever remembers what article that is, please link it.

Kobe could be healed all the way now, bottom line it doesnt matter until we can see what he can do on the court.  Him being healed doesnt change the fact that his last bit of athleticism could be gone.  Hope not but achilles are no joke.

Of course Kobe is not a doctor but he talks to HIS DOCTORS more than anyone and knows more than these "sources"

The Los Angeles Lakers not only expect Kobe Bryant to be back by the start of the regular season but believe he could be back by the preseason.

Lakers vice president Jim Buss told NBA TV on Thursday that Bryant is ahead of schedule in his recovery from the torn Achilles tendon he suffered in April. Buss expects Bryant to play in a preseason game.

"Well, we're in Vegas, and I would bet a lot of money that this guy comes back probably in preseason," Buss said during the Lakers-Milwaukee Bucks game at the Las Vegas Summer League. "He's real sharp in taking care of himself and he's not going to rush anything just to get back and prove a point. He's going to come back when he's right. He's a machine. He's inhuman. I see him coming back at the beginning of this season. I can't believe how much he's progressed so far."

If Kobe Bryant comes back before the season starts, he is going to be the first in the guiness world record for the fastest healing with this kind of injury.  I know many people who have this injury and it takes atleast 8 months and that is the fastest it can heal.  This is litterally almost impossible if he actually comes back before then. Questions going to be lingering about the big S world. Yes Im talking about steroids or human growth. We all know steroids is a great medicine to recover from injury.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.
