Batum would be nice, Blazers aren't trading Aldridge or Lillard. Oh man, let Mitch do his Magic.

As long as Jim Buss doesn't get in the way, I have faith in Mitch to get something done involving the Wolves and Love.

Kyle Lowry. It's time the Lakers have defense at PG. I don't think Minnesota or Portland give up Aldridge or Love respectively. They're not really what the Lakers need right now anyway.

Batum/Matthews would be nice. But, I think the Lakers' biggest problem is still guarding small guards. Plus getting PGs is a lot tougher than getting wing players.

Kyle Lowry would be a fantastic point guard, but I have no idea what his contract situation is right now.

Every team can't guard small fast point guards.  In fact, even the small fast point guards can't guard each other.  That play still doesn't win you rings in the playoffs, despite the rule changes.  Rebounding and defense first.  Speed is nice to have as a secondary weapon but it has yet to win the cup all being a primary component.

Honestly a future of Kevin Love (A Spread 4) and Howard would be a dynamic duo... both would play off one another PERFECTLY.

Who's going to pass them the ball? We need speed on the perimeter. A stretch 4 is easy to find. *My 1st Post*

Batum and Matthews and I'm fine with it.

i agree. as long as mathews returns to the mathews of old (dwight has made me hate saying this about players); but, mathews has been injured and hasnt looked too good THIS year..

nash/blake

kobe/mathews

batum/cdr?

clark/jamison?

dwight/hill

-our starting unit will be pretty damn fast. kobe is no slow-man. batum is the perfect starting 3 for us - he can shoot/defend on ball and great at help D/he can take it to the hole when dared and he wont lose the ball.

-our 2nd unit will also be better than this years. a healthy mathews can create, he's really a jamal crawford type player when he's healthy, AND hes a good defender. if we resign jamison, know that he plays best with a player who can drive and create for him (mathews) , and blake is the same as jamison in that regard.

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

It's not about defense at the point guard. It's about rotational defense. The ability to switch correctly, rotate over, help the helper

Batum and Matthews solve that issue

I thought Batum would have a breakout season this year, the guy is on the verge of being a special player in this league.  It certainly wouldn't suck to see him in L.A.

Yea they want him but they dont want to give much up. Bargs is not gonna be a laker. Twolves arent gonna give up love so who care unless tey give up barea, williams and maybe peck not sure.Blazer are the same. They will defiantly not give up LA.

Lillard, Hickson, and Mathews, but that's a stretch.

A Barea, Pekovic, and Williams sounds more realistic to me.

I'm counting the days until Pau gets traded.

You haven't run out of numbers yet? It seems we've been counting down for quite a while.

He traded Odom for a TPE that lead to Nash. He traded Fish for Hill. He traded Pau for Chris Paul.

He traded Drew for Howard. Josh McRoberts for Earl Clark.

I think Mitch is more responsible for making the trades happen. I get the impression Lil jimmy is more involved with drafting. Seeing as how basketball players are like horses and all. Aside from Bynum who else is still in the league the lakers have drafted in the last ten years? Sam Jacobson and Sun Yue washed my car yesterday. Pig miller detailed it.

He's been inconsistent though... He goes from playing great one game and disappearing the next.
