Wait. so you want Jerry Solan here (who hasn't won the big one either) but you make this this comment here.. uhhh okay

Anyway I don't care who is the next coach, they can't be any worse than D'Antoni

Many of us said no one could be worse than Mike Brown either lol

Scott, Shaw, or the cashier at the grocery store right down the street.

As long as its not D'Antoni, I'm fine with it.

^ Yeah, but that's not the right mentality to have. Not with us, not the Lakers. We don't settle. We need to bring back our more often than not standard throughout our history of ultimate excellence and a lot of that starts with the vital head coaching job.

It's a joke man.

And the Lakers hired D'Antoni over Phil, seems settling is what this organization is not only heading towards, but already mired in, unfortunately.

I think he's a reasonable option, but really I would only fire D'Antoni if Phil was going to come back in some capacity. Otherwise I would make sure D'Antoni was willing to change his coaching style and hire a defensive coordinator. If he is willing to adapt and use Pau, and Phil is not an option, then I say let him have a full year. If he says no I want to trade Pau for Bargnani, run pick & roll with Nash, play small, play fast etc. I'd say you're a moron and hire Scott or whoever else is available and willing to work with the roster.
