after watching lecter dip those tongues in the beginning, I will not be able to eat certain items anymore, and the acting was superb.
"Hannibal", based on Dr. Hannibal Lecter from "Silence Of The Lambs"

Stunning second episode, Gillian Anderson was mind blowing in her scenes with Hannibal, Will and Jack.

It's a wannabe Dexter where you know what happens to every character eventually. If your characters aren't in peril who cares about any of them? The massive mistake in making a prequel to something everyone knows well. It's far too melodramatic, a one-note show hat quickly becomes a bore, no tension and the musical score is beyond annoying.
All of that sprinkled on top of a woefully miscast and often unintelligible actor for Hannibal Lechter.
Just more TV drivel desperately trying to be something it can never be.
