Melo #1 on the list at 19.4 million.

Win shares: 0.7
Big time scorer who can really get on a roll at times - just very inefficient. Anthony shoots 44% and gets fewer than three assists per game. Forget LeBron James and Kevin Durant, Anthony doesn’t even measure up to former Knick Zack Randolph, who makes $3 million less playing in Memphis.

A note on making judgment calls for hurt players: we generally didn’t include strong players that have missed significant time with injuries recently, like Derek Rose or Amare Stoudemire. But we did include those that have has trouble staying healthy for extended periods (at some point you need to show you can stay on the court), or whose performance had been fading for awhile anyway (like Hedo Turkoglu).

Corey Maggette has to be on some serious juice.  He has always been chisled, but that picture is ridiculous.  No question he is overpaid as well.

I disagree with Dirk and Melo being on this list.  Dirk is the best player in Mavs franchise history, yes he may not be worth it entirely right now, but keeping him for marketing and jersey sales make it worth it for the Mavs.  He is also coming off of an injury, not sure if that was taken into account at all.  Melo is having a career year and would be the favorite for MVP right now if LeBron wasn't having a historic year.

Can't complain about any of the others though.
