Scalabrine only averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes during his 11 year NBA career.

The reason I’m explaining this is because when you’re in the NBA and not a star, people seem to get the impression that you are a scrub.

He probably could have gone overseas and been a star who averaged double figures and put up all the shots he wanted to.

Scalabrine chose to be an NBA bench player and he made a nice living at it.  He’s now retired but still seems to be taking flak from those who feel he was a scrub.

The retired Scalabrine is obviously tired of white ball players challenging him to a game of 1 on 1, because he took to twitter to deliver some ether and let any ball player that is white and not in the league know that they have no shot against him 1 on 1.

Tired of people challenging me 1on1. Let me be direct. If ur white & not N the NBA u have No chance. If ur a brother, maybe…but i doubt it

He should probably clarify college players too. I mean Im pretty sure soon to be nba players could easily beat him because he is retired and older but yea people really dont understand that the worst nba player is far far better than the best street baller.

I didn't even realize he was retired.  Is he working as an assistant coach with the Bulls at least?  I'd pay money to see him play one on one with that funny looking guy on Gonzaga

And I think big Z could still school him

Big Z has to honestly be one of the most slowest & least athletic effective players of all-time. It's incredible what he was able to accomplish for all of his deficiencies.

^ Not sure how much Red Mamba has to his game other than shooting 3s. Probably even less of a post-game than White Mamba.
