gets injured multiple times during a season. why do you laker fans love injury prone players stop with these type suggestions SMFH

Injury prone? Don't you think that's taking it a bit too far?

Just because he hasn't been as durable as Westbrook, doesn't mean he's injury prone!

Were you happy with the CP3 trade veto? 'cause he's had his fair share of injuries...

And the kid is only 21 FFS!!!

I'd sign him to a max deal right now... [expletive] I'd trade Dwight for him right now!!!

so your in the ''if you cant beat em join em'' LOL  well thats what lebron did so with your mentality i understand why you want him so badly.

You make no sense. Miami was irrelevant for the most part. LeBron's previous teams were always better than them in recent years. You would've made sense if you had said Celtics or Mavs however.

yo.

I would be so happy to see us get Derrick Rose when Kobe retires. I think he, Howard, and a bunch of decent role players can take on any team.

Brandon Jennings

He's not better compared to the PGs that are mentioned here, but chances he wants to play in Laker uniform are HIGH, assuming he stays patients and sign the 1yr qualifying the Bucks offered him, which would mean he'll be stuck in a bad situation for a year

I have an extremely good feeling that Paul George will be on the lakers.

He would be a restricted FA but I dont think Indiana will pay much for him. Having him and dwight would be deadly.

The big problem with the future though is the PG position. There really isn't any realistic pg's to go after in 2014 and not sure how we could trade for one in this off season. Hopfully someone finds pau trade attractive

I think PG needs to work on his offense and shot selection more, but having George and Howard as the two main stars sets a great tone defensively and in terms of athleticism. I would love to have George here in 2014, and with the cap space LA will have, it's realistic. He's from LA too right?

Err no. Pacers are going to get rid of Granger and keep Paul George. He is their star right now.

Like that Lillard comment means anything either way. it's unlikely that he'll stay with Portland his entire career. Has anyone ever stayed with Portland for their entire career? Not that many players do it for any team for that matters. That also doesn't mean we will get him. Basically we have as good of a chance to get him as anyone else one day if the stars align (his contract, our cap space, etc).

If Kyrie can become a bit more durable, I think I'd take him over almost anyone in the league right now though. Paul George would be nice too and I feel like there's at least a small chance we could get him for under max one day.

Pacers can want to keep him all they want. And who knows if they'd be willing to give him a max contract. That'd be two max contracts (one of which is horrible) which will push them closer to the tax line than they probably want to go. Even if they do give him whatever he wants salary wise, that doesn't mean he won't want to test free agency. Especially with the way the CBA is. He won't sign an extension and will go into the offseason to either sign a better deal with Indiana or see what other offers he can get. When he does anything can happen.

You clearly dont know what a "restricted" free agent is.

Lol I know what a restricted free agent is. There could come a time when he becomes an unrestricted free agent, yes? Yes.

Pacers are a really small market. Right now they dont have one guy over a 14 mill contract. I just dont think they are willing to pay him the 16-18 that we would be offering him.
