Westbrook is a childhood Lakers fan, he will give 110% every night for this team. Though he would probably chuck us out of games too. I would want Lebron just so his Laker/Kobe-hater fans will go emo and jump off a building. Durant sounds like a great successor to Kobe, but he needs to work on his defense, don't want a "Nash" at SF. Irving would be my first choice to build around Dwight, love the confidence in his game, reminds me of the young arrogant Kobe.

That's a great point that I definitely thought of before. Most Lebron fans are obviously Kobe/Lakers haters and they're not a fan of any one team (which I honestly think is pathetic). Cleveland? Miami? These fans follow him everywhere, and would follow him if he jumped off a bridge. Trolling them by forcing them to choose between abandoning their bandwagon ways and root for the Lakers, or to just stop rooting for Lebron would be quite epic.

I used to be on the Kyrie Irving wagon to get him to LA, but then this season happened and he's proven himself to be completely injury prone.

He was hurt at Duke with some foot injury and missed most of the season, then in his first NBA season he suffered a concussion and sprained his right shoulder near the end of the year (missed two weeks). This year he broke a finger on his shooting hand (missed 3 weeks), came back and broke his jaw 3 games later, sat out with knee problems for about a week and a half, and then hurt his right shoulder and missed 3 weeks.

That's a ton of injuries over a 3 year span, all over his body. He's great when healthy, but you can't have a key player like him missing so many games on a yearly basis.

For all of you guys saying lebron....as a laker fan you must be crazy.

I beg to differ. If you're a Laker fan first & foremost, you put your Kobe fandom aside and get your priorities straight. When you do that you realize, winning comes above all, at all costs, including of course passing up those green bastards.

^ So would it be fair to say you're more of a Kobe fan than Laker fan or would that offend you? Considering it's quite obvious to most anyone LeBron easily would give us (the Lakers) the best chance of winning at the highest level.

I would think there'd be a better & more realistic chance of LeBron going to the other L.A. team though than us. Don't think he'd wanna' follow up his arch-rival Kobe & all his massive legacy here.

Name one better.

None, he is the best player right now I just don't like him to be here. I prefer durant over him much younger and more humble person.

fair enough.  Durant is a good second place.  I actually like Lebron's act, he seems funny, his team seems to love him, and watching him play is like watching a man play against children.

I wouldn't mind having LeBron here, he and Dwight would be quite a sight to see. Other players: Irving, George, Durant, CP3. I believe Westbrook will be a Laker somewhere down the line as well. He's only in his early 20's.

I would have wanted the LeBron Miami is getting, NOT after next season where he will be at that age where he won't jump quite AS high or run AS fast.
Durant at that time will be in his mid-twenties.
Same with WestBrook.

I think a 28 year old Westbrook will be Top PG in the game status. Durable. Big heart. Aggressive.

2015
Westbrook

Love
Dwight

Also, looking at the way Parker and Conkey have evolved, I would love to take a chance on John Wall with a guy like Klay Thompson, maybe Kobe as a 3, Kevin Love and Dwight.

My dream team in 2014
