What one player in the NBA do you wanna see the Lakers acquire in the near future?

For me we already have a terrific big man obviously in Dwight Howard, but with Kobe aging and retiring soon we need another perimeter superstar. That's why I would choose Kevin Durant. I love this guy because he has a Bryant like work ethic, he scores so easily, is committed to defense and winning, and he's also incredibly clutch. Only thing is I'm not sure KD will ever leave Oklahoma City. Maybe if him and Westbrook have a Bryant/Shaq like fued.

Not the biggest LeBron fan, but at the end of the day if he could be a Laker, he'd easily give us the best chance of winning and I'm sure I'd warm up to him so pretty simply LeBron.

^ I considered him, but then thought, well although I like him a lot more than LeBron, at the end of day, winning is what's most important and LeBron's at the top of the list as far as doing that for us.

By the time Kobe retires Lebron will be over 30 so post-Kobe era, i want Durant or Irving. Durant is my first choice though, if he can beat father time like Kobe has been doing, he will break all the records our beloved Mamba has.

Is this a fantasy thread or an "all things considered" thread?  Because the names thrown out so far are probably fantasy.

Can't bring myself to saying I want Lebron on this team, because I hate him so much. It also is pointless to say that I would want him, and for him to not come here, so I will just continue being a hater. ONLY time I would root for him would be if/when he signed the dotted line with us - Until then, [expletive] him.

i would say LBJ as well but i think getting irving while in his early 20s and putting a team around him would make our team favorites to win

I never said he was a scrub you retard. All I said was he needs another star perimeter player alongside him to win.
