Derrick Rose is “Close” to Returning, But Doesn’t Feel Quite Ready

Thibs said D. Rose is “close” to a return but still doesn’t quite feel ready. Said only he knows when he’ll be good to go. Won’t speculate.

He ain't coming back. I think they're using this as a tactic to sell out Bulls playoff games by saying he might play.

I think he will be back for the playoffs if the Bulls are positioned right, seeding wise.

By positioned right, I mean placed on the opposite side of the bracket as Miami. They can hang with every team in the East while Rose gets his confidence back and eventually gets into a rhythm by late May when they can potentially play Miami.

If Miami plays Milwaukee (who will throw Monta, Jennings and Sanders at them for at least 5 games...or 4 very gruesome ones) and then Indiana or New York (which will go 6 games at least), Chicago can take them 7.

The Bulls can beat the Heat. I'm not betting on it, ....but they can.

When and if he comes back, if hes 50% the player he was before I'll be surprised.

I'm not hatin either. I like his attitude, demeanor and love for the game. Classy dude.

I just dont think its probable he will be the MVP he was injured as.

^ apparently he's used this time to work on his jumpshot and all-around game so thay he doesn't have to rely on his athleticism all the time.

A Derrick Rose picking his spots and when to explode and beating people with fundamentals is a better all around player than he was before getting injured.

Yeah, but without the home-court advantage it's really gonna' bite them in the ass, especially considering the style the Bulls like to play. You really think the zebras are gonna' allow the Bulls to play as tough, rough, & physical as they did in that last game in Chicago (where they finished the Heat's streak) in Miami? I almost guarantee you that won't be the case. They'll be calling touch fouls guaranteed for LeBron, Wade, & whomever else & believe it or not, that could be enough to make a vital difference.

He won't be 100% athletically this season but next season he'll be there or close to it.

He'll be back to being truly one of the best players in the league
