Now the rumors of CP3 headed to the Lakers are beginning again...

Aside from a "massive" paycut.. I don't see it, unless he and dwight were willing to both take less money. Much less.

If we could get rid of Pau in the process of somehow acquiring CP3, that'd be bliss.

^ you mean if Mitch could find a way to talk the Clippers into taking Gasol as a center?

Meh.. I think we could pull off Bledsoe but not Paul in a trade.

However CP3 is a free agent this off-season. If he wanted to he could sign with us and we wouldn't lose a thing.

I wouldn't think so either. Unless, of course, Real Deal reaches again...

Do we still have to keep Pau?

Real Deal's next reach should be something like this.

"If we somehow signed Chris Paul while re-signing Dwight both under this current CBA in the off-season, it would be the single biggest defining moment of Jim Buss's tenure as an owner and I say that because it's beyond me reaching, that's 2K fantasy league stuff.

The only thing to make it more ridiculous would be if Mitch somehow were to unload Pau Gasol and get Kevin Love. But that's a greater reach as given the way they are focused on the 2014 free agency, I don't see them doing that with the likes of Carmelo and LeBron to be bought for a max we could afford in that agency.

But, is it possible? Yes. Is it a reach! Extremely. Do I expect it? No.
But would it surprise me? No.

It would surprise me about as much as them hiring Phil back which again.. Is me reaching..
