Great win. Defense won this game 84-86

Next game is ginormous. Clippers have beaten every time this season. A win there would be huge. We would have a great chance at getting a 2 game lead on utah.

We need a new late-game situation play. The Kobe iso beyond the three point arc is too predictable. I thought MDA was an offensive genius?

Just happy to beat Memphis lol!!! It feels awhile since we have beaten them. Glad we got the W because that's all that matters. Let's keep it going now.

MEM has an18-6 record since the break, third-best in NBA. Five players averaging double figures (Conley, Allen, Bayless, Randolph, Gasol).

But we beat them but still aren't a playoff team...

I think Conley was fouled but that's not a call that the offensive player typically gets at the end of the game.  Conley just missed a couple of outside shots so he figured he would drive instead. That was a spot where they really missed Gay.

This is a playoff team?

Memphis should hang their heads in shame.

Na.  They lost to a decent (not good) team on their home court, but had 3 or 4 shots to win it.  Cant ask for more than that.  Like watching the Griz play defense is enjoyable.

Its how Memphis plays. They are a slow paced grind it out half court set defensive team. Like Chicago and Indiana...

Do you guys even watch these teams aside from when they play us?

I'll take em when we can get em..

Hopefully we can get Nash back by Sunday. Blake is doing fine but we are razor thin at PGs with Nash out

So the Lakers go from terrible to decent? I'll take it. After all, most 8th seeds are historically "decent".

That Earl Clark block was one of the best defensive plays I've seen in years.

Any chance Kobe can get at least 20 minutes of rest on Sunday?

At this rate, we'll be lucky if he plays less than 40 min. Lol :/
