Kobe Bryant after playing 47 minutes and 48 seconds of basketball tonight on a bone spurred left foot took the strangest opportunity to say he has many more years left in him.

Kobe said he could play longer that one or two more seasons, but it's up to if he wants to. He said he could become a PG and avg 12 ast

So as is everything else with Kobe Bryant he feels it comes down to choice and whether or not he wanted to continue on with the game of basketball. With Kobe it appears he will stay as long as he has passion for the game.

One or two championships seem to be his contract extensions. Keep being Kobe..Kobe!

I think Kobe always felt this way. I always thought that Kobe will keep playing as long as he keeps up his level of play. Once his numbers dip and its obvious time has hit him finally he will put it up. I mean right now the guy is 34 and is still ballin. Its sort of hard to think of a NBA without the Mamba def something Im not looking forward to.

Oh yes, because Kobe never seems like he enjoys the game of basketball.

I think Kobe's dream scenario is to win a title in the next couple of years where he can ride off in the sunset.

Then D'Antoni really can't play him full games at this age.

Kobe told him to.

After the first quarter D'antoni looked at Kobe like he was gonna rest him and Kobe said "Nah, I'm goin 48!" And that was that.

He had to otherwise the Lakers would have lost. This team is really badly coached. If there was a semblance of some structured offense or defense things would be much improved. Do you think Kobe ideally wanted to play 47 minutes in a late season game against Sacramento?

Always nice to know our coach has no balls.

Tonight was a prime example why our older players are losing a new limb every game.

That's coz Kobe's ankle would've stiffened up had he rested again.

Always nice to know the mods here are objective...

Actually Kobe purposely played 48 minutes because if he rested then his foot would tighten up due to the spur run on sentence ftw

He played 48 minutes because Pringles didn't have the balls to say "Hey Kobe, sit your f**ing ass here"

His willingness to play should be left out of the question. I think it really depends on his health. We know he's not human and he can play through every injury, but he'll show his human face sooner or later.

Would you say he had the balls when he publicly ridiculed our whole team after that loss to the wizards?
