True being a ref has its health benefits jogging up and down those courts is some good exercise.

^ Yeah, but I'm referring to more than that in Danny Crawford's case in case you haven't taken a good look at the guy. He is quite damn built for anyone, let alone a ref.

I've always wondered what a ref would do in that scenario when a punch was a complete accident

This is possible every time a player goes crazy following a play. Some refs would probably take it much worse. Hats off to Crawford for understanding what happened and not overreacting
