I thought David Stern said it was illegal for a player to wear his elbow band above his elbow 2 years ago. Anybody that wears it above his elbow would be fined. Is that rule scrapped now? Cause I see Kobe and Cuttino Mobley sporting it like that again.

I'm guessing it goes against the NBA dress code. I don't know if anyone has been fined for it though.

Hmm, for the dress code I only remembered proper attire coming and leaving and at the sidelines on the bench, didn't even remember there's one for being on court.

Oh, I'm not sure then. I thought there were some other dress code rules concerning attire in the game as well.

Dress code I thought was mainly for the bench players who aren't playing, and that they had to be dressed up for their street clothes.

I don't know any gang signs or anything else that would deal with an armband, so I don't know what Stern's problem would be with where you decided to wear a band.

I keep seeing him adjust his sleeve, gets annoying...I welcome the band any way.
