Its about a month away so its a good time to start talking about it. Seeing the future of my team unfold is personally one of my favorite things about the NFL. As a Rams fan, i would like to see the Rams pick up Warmack, Tavon Austin, Eddie Lacy, or even Cyprien in the second round. Who do you want to see on your team and what would it mean for your teams future?

Defense often and early is what im hoping for for my Packers. Datone Jones, DE from UCLA is my favorite realistic 1st round prospect so far. I also like Kevin Minter, the ILB from LSU.

I could see the Chargers picking up Lane Johnson. One of the best tackles in the draft

Chargers may have to trade up in order to get Johnson. Bucs may have to trade up to get Milliner too.

Mind if I throw my .02 in? Haha

Milliner is a no brainer if he makes it to you. Hunt is a very intriguing prospect, however there's a few reasons why I'm not really high on him myself. 1. I believe he'll be around 25 years old by the time the season starts and he's already a VERY raw player to begin with. 2. I watched him during the senior bowl and he was pretty underwhelming. He was getting beat constantly during the 1 on 1's and his lack of playing experience looked like it was holding him back in Mobile.

As for Jenkins in the 3rd, that's some pretty wishful thinking haha. I don't think he makes it out of the 1st. He's a pure NT, and with a few more teams switching to the 3-4 and some 3-4 teams already lacking a good NT, I don't see him lasting until the 3rd. Also, a lot of what I said also applies to Sly Williams haha. I have him falling no further than the mid 2nd round.

Collins and Moore are both good looking OLB's. They're scheme versatile too, either of them would be great a great pick. I'm a huge fan of Travis Kelce, that dude is a beast. Good hands, solid blocker, and he's not afraid to run you over.

Your last few picks all look solid. Swope would look good running the slot while Jackson and Williams draw coverage on the outside. McGee has athleticism to spare and he would be a good developmental project to spend a 6th or 7th on. Getting Klein in the 6th would be pretty good value, he's a solid ILB prospect in the later rounds.

Appreciate it man.

I know my mock is probably off a round with some of the picks but I wanted to inject some wishful thinking into it. Doubtful that Milliner drops to us and if that's the case, we could get CB Xavier Rhodes instead. But we NEED corners...even if do grab Revis.

Margus Hunt...now that's somewhat of a blind pick based on potential but we need to get to the QB. This will be Bowers and Clayborn's last year to prove themselves. Jordan, Werner, Ansah, Okafor, Carradine, etc could be in play for us...albeit the first 3 will be more than likely gone before the second round.

Gonna have to do some revising if those DTs won't be there.

Figured I'd share this story here..

So I post on the Packers draft board on ESPN.com. We've formed a pretty close community on that board and everyone their is very knowledgeable when it comes to the draft. I joined the board back in '08 I believe and that's when I started to follow the draft. There was a member on there named Supergenious007. This guy was an OG, he used to get those Mel Kiper draft booklets in the mail back in the day. He really knew his stuff. Fast forward to '10 and Supergenious tells us he has been diagnosed with Cancer, it was terminal. The season goes on and a few weeks later he tells us his family has gotten him tickets to go see the Packers play the 9ers in Lambeau. He said he was on 'the home stretch'. Idk if many of you saw that game, but it was special looking back on it. Rodgers was balling, Driver showed he still had in it him, even in his twilight, and our running game emerged in Starks that would aid in our playoff run. We never heard from Super again. A few months after that December game, the Packers won the Super Bowl. We like to think Super made it to see his team raise the Lambardi trophy, but if not, we're at least happy he got to see a glimpse of what was to come that day in December.

Hey Windu,

Thought you might like this site, its pretty cool. It's a simulated mock draft that goes all 7 rounds. You can simulate trades too.

Always does. But when it ends it's like footballs right around the corner.
