I just hope, at the end of this season, MDA is given another year because the team wasn't able to assess his capabilities.

Oh I dunno... He was stuck at the 4 for what 2 minutes? And went 2-3 and got 7 points before halftime?

How did the guy that started at the 4 do in comparison?

The entire game to get 7 points?

With as much as he's contributed this season I find it ironic that a majority of fans that say Metta does nothing and should be amnestied(despite putting up career averages and improvements) are the ones that say to keep giving Gasol chances :)

Dunno if you're one of them.. I just find it funny those that do.

Oh cool one game. I'm talking about the whole season. He has been very inconsistent, he is a ball stopper on offense, his IQ is at 0 most of the time and his defense is below average now. He's garbage.

Ya'll are idiots if you say Metta getting injured is good news.

He other than Jotdan Hill has been the Lakers best power forward this year and most consistent player not named Nash or Kobe.

Maybe a few games with 3Klanks will makr ya'll feel as stupid as you sound.

You're a disgrace to Laker fans if you think any of our players, let alone one that produced throughout the season getting injured is good news. And the fanbase would be better without you.

You know, I seen people always say how classy Lakers fans are cause they don't make petty immature stupid comments towards other teams...that's cause they save all that bullcrap for their own team instead and it makes me sick.

lol metta has been so inconsistent. Get off his jock already.

as can be said for you for the things you have said. Homerism.

I love metta, he brought us a chip and is a competitor. but his choices in shot attempts on O are very irritating, some of the blame goes on dumtoni. He fails to utilize him correctly imo. just like howard too. here are some numbers 51.8 TS% 39FG% He is actullay shooting a alright % from 3 point land at 35%.

I just hope, at the end of this season, MDA is given another year because the team wasn't able to assess his capabilities.

What Capabilities? Dude is a horrid coach, what has he done to even think that he is a champion coach? And even if we structure this team with his personal, we wont do any significant with him at the Helm

Have I lost hope on this team? No, not with Kobe Bryant on this team

Has MDA gave me a reason to believe we will a championship for sure? NO

Bottom line is WE WONT GO NOWHERE AS LONG AS HE IS THE COACH

I was being sarcastic.  I was mouthing what I hope doesn't come from the FO.  MDA should resign now and give me hope for the off season.

I hope MDA goes with Clark/Meeks/Kobe instead of Pau/Clark/Kobe. I dont think Metta would help us this week vs smaller faster athletic teams, just rest up and ready to go next week

I think this is the same injury that Bynum played with during the NBA finals run.  He might be super limited but I think he can play with this injury

This means more Kobe at the 3 and more Meeks/Blake at the 2. May not be a bad thing, better decision making, 3 point shooting and mobility on the court

Sorry bout the injury. First ever knee injury. Recovery time hopefully is a week and a half

Hopefully? Damn if there was ever a time for Pau to quit pouting and step up its now. Need guys like Clark and Meeks to play better....also MDA needs to give Ebanks some minutes. Its desperation time

From Dr. Robert Klapper

A lateral meniscus tear is more unusual than a medial tear. Rare for this to heal on it's own. Depends on location for repair vs trim.

Pain from lateral meniscus tear comes from the abnormal pull on the cartilage as it slides pulling on the rich nerve supply. Swelling follow

Metta is more reliable than Ebanks, let's not even play that game.

Ebanks isn't capable of taking initiative when Kobe is off.

Nash does it "some of the time" and Dwight isn't the guy that's going to carry your team offensively.

So if Kobe is off who is the ball gonna g to to to score?

Metta was the only willing one that paid off.

So who is there now to depend on? The reluctant Nash or Dwight who isn't a go to offensive option away from Kobe.

So who is left? Ebanks? Morris? Meeks? Gasol? Clark?

See how bad things are now?

You had all better hope Kobe doesn't hit a slump while Metta is out or its going to get painful.

Metta World Peace has deleted his optimistic tweet...the one where he said he would hopefully be back in a week and a half.

You act like Metta is our 2nd best player.

You act like Metta is our 2nd best player.

He's our 4th.

But in terms of taking initiative when Kobe is off, he seems the only one "willing" enough to do it.

Neither Nash nor Dwight have that in their DNA right now. Nash can do it but he shouldn't be relied on for it or he'll let you down if he's having a reluctant day.

Dwight isn't gonna do it because he"s never been that type of player.

So who is left? Gasol?

Realize of those 4

Kobe, metta, Dwight, Nash that only Kobe and Metta have shown willingness to take initiative and the only one willing to take pressure off of Kobe and criticism if he fails. Nash was meant to do that this year...but its few and far between and 90 percent of the time will get his offense because of Kobe and Dwight can't do much with Gasol screwing up interior spacing and even when it isn't you have to count on him to make free throws as he'll either be double teamed or fouled.

What this means is that with Metta out, if Kobe is having an off night you'll have to depend on Nash or Dwight to carry your offensive load and neither has been that kind of player nor had that kind of mentality. This means if Nash is on a reluctant day and Dwight is being played a certain way or his free throws are off then Kobe's gonna have to take more shots through a slump and work even harder coming off injury...

So like I said before, we had better hope that Kobe doesn't go into a slump or it's going to be extremely painful to watch.
