I wonder what d'antoni could possibly be saying now.

Pau just doesn't have a place on this team anymore. He's never adjusted well to being the 3rd or 4th offensive option behind the likes of Bynum, Dwight and Nash the last 3 years. That, plus some injuries. He needs to be on a team where he's the solid 2nd option. Maybe he can recapture some of his old self in a different situation. Being a second option is when he played the best basketball of his career.

What I want to hear

D'antoni: the Pau Gasol experiment is over.

What I will hear
D'antoni: well Pau's just coming back but regardless of that you can't dig a hole like we did in the first half an expect to win..you just don't do it.

Pau Gasol was on the bench. What do you think?

Mix of both.

Golden State just decimated in the first half, leaving that huge hole in the second half.

Lakers came to play only in the late quarter, but too bad it wasn't enough.

The warriors stepped off the gas. They had their way with the Lakers to the tune of a 25 point lead. There was no way the Lakers were winning this game despite that moral victory comeback.

I'd like to think that GS just let off in the 4th. Thinking about the Lakers actually playing better in the 4th and losing by single-digits just leads me to somewhat of another moral victory. They never even played hard in this entire game IMO. Even when GS went on cold stretches in the 4th, the Lakers still couldn't capitalize and score on their end. Game was already lost before it even started anyways.

That loss on Friday is really gonna bite these idiots in the ass. Had they won that stupid game, they would likely still be 2 games ahead of Utah.

Maybe it's just because it's been awhile, but would anybody like to see some Darius Morris again? He's not a great defender, but he's had success at times against quicker guards. Our guards right now have no chance. I'm desperate to see the Lakers do something to help their defense.

It's been awhile, so maybe I just don't remember how he was that well. Was he really harmful to the team to the point where he should've been benched?

I don't think Pau's the ONLY problem.

Has he played well? no. Dudes been fighting injuries all year. It's a lost season for him (and the lakers). We could bench him. But then people will complain he makes too much money. No [expletive]. Play out the season and see what we can get for Pau this offseason.

We are going nowhere this year. Accept that and ease your mind.
