Pau Gasol Jump shot isn't good as before.

He has to work in the paint.

If He can't play with Dwight Howard ,

Earl Clark has to play with Dwight Howard

and Pau Gasol with the 2nd unit.

He still can score 19~20 points per game with post up moves.

I just don't get why Lakers still uses Pau Gasol as sceen and use him as jump shot scorer.

I think Earl Clak's mid range jump shot is alot better.

At this point, by the percentages I would take Clark.

I'd rather see more Clark and Jamison too, and Pau as the backup center. Hopefully they move Pau in the offseason for a point guard or small forward and Jordan Hill can be our backup though. More energy, more efficient, won't complain about his role.

Exactly.

Gasol was playing his best in the season off the bench at the 5, but his ego about wanting to be a starter get in the way.

Actually Gasol is shooting a higher percentage outside of the paint than in although sadly even stating that, there is no good there cause it's not like he's shooting lights out with his mid-range either.

yo.

Clark has been in a slump but pau has been in a slump for the past 2 season.

Congo Cash baby Congo Cash!

Seriously, discussing this is an insult to Gasol's skills. Clark is the better defender, more athlethic, energic obviously, great team guy doesnt have the ego of a diva like Gasol has. I can go on with this list but saying Clark's jumpshot is better does not make sense. And stats guys, i don't care if Clark's mid-range stats are better than Pau's, it doesn't make Clark a better. It is just a seasons stats. But Pau has been such a pain in thr back area and Clark is like found gold, so i prefer Clark as a starter BUT not because he is a better midrange shooter.

Clark is a better fit as a starter. Simple as that.

Clark is better right now. He has confidence while Gasol does not. The big difference also Clark will keep shooting if he misses some. Gasol will stop shooting once he goes 4-10.
