I would really like Lakers trying to get Danny Granger, with George doing so well we might want to try to acquire Granger from the Pacers. I was frustrated we didn't attempt to grab Rudy Gay...so maybe Granger?

 

Addressing other concerns, if not Granger at least Rondo?

 

What do you guys think?

2. Get one floor-spacing PF and one athletic SF.

3.  Get rid of World Peace.

4. Resign Howard and Clark but do not overpay them. 

5. Sign a back-up C for the vet min.

Gasol will be traded, but for who...thats why im hoping for Rondo or Granger...both will be gambles since they both had similar injuries.

That's cuz we had NOTHING to offer that they want except Howard. They don't want Gasol. Rudy Gay was a salary dump so Gasol would just be adding more money. Can you seriously put a REAL offer on the table you think Grizzlies would have taken from us OVER a rising Ed Davis and veteran SF Prince?

I think we need a four-man front-line. With Dwight as the main piece, i think any 3-man combination of Pau, Hill, Jamison and Clark will do. That basically means that if we re-sign Jamison and Clark, we trade either Hill or Pau - whoever will get us the best deal. If we only re-sign one of them, we keep both Hill and Pau.

 

Other than that, i think we need a wing who can spread the floor and defend.

Gasol as an expiring contract might make sense for them. You can do a 3 team or more trade because I know team will be willing to take on Gasol's contract next year.

 

I know Minny or Raptors will be willing, but the questions is pieces that would get Granger or Rondo out of their perspective teams. Not saying it's likely, but its what I want to see happen.

Resign the people that actually play. Don't trade Gasol. Fire MD. Hire PJ. The team will be comfortable with themselves. That's the key. You don't want to trade key people every year. Look at OKC they've kept most of their core for a while.

4.Get Rid of Ebanks-You can trade this guy for cat food for all i care.

5.Get Brian Shaw or equivalent. 

6.Keep Jordan Hill only if you see him coming back fully healthy with no break downs next season.

7.Get Paul George or an athletic PF.

8.Rondo? I want it to happen but i don't see how....Nash will be 40 years old next season and we need another top/semi tier PG (NOT A BACKUP). Someone like a Brandon Jennings or Will Bynum.

9.Resign Howard.

Fire MDA, trade Pau, amnesty MWP (trade if anyone will give back value for him), resign Howard. I'd like to wait and see how the rest of the season goes first before saying anything else though.
