Everyone playing like their tired. No show from Jamison and Clark(who just missed two free throws in a row) means Metta becomes the floor spacer and as expected he's shooting terribly cause of it.

But EVERYONE is shooting terribly today

Metta 5-17
Nash 6-17
Dwight 6-18

Blake is 6-11 out shooting them all.

And when Blake is the only guy of those four shooting over 50 percent at over ten shots taken its a bad sign.

Tired legs, no threes will fall. But the offense is pretty spread today Dwight got a majority of touches we just couldnt hit off open opportunities and played on tired legs all night. Dwight has had almost as many shot attempts as we've had threes so thats fine.

But still, the true disappointment tonight has been the no show of Antawn Jamison.

That's what I was worried of.

Knowing of the inconsistencies, and off nights by Nash & Howard, who was going to step up?

Nope, Lakers have a back-to-back next week @ Minnesota/ @Milwaukee, and then their last back-to-back is April 9th and 10th at home against NOH and then @ Portland.

Have to go 4 of the next 5. That last month is going to be hell, better hope the stronger teams rest their starters when they play us.

Poor coaching by Mike Antoni.

And bad play from everyone else.

We had 89 shots only 20 of them were threes.

It wasn't bombing threes that got us in the end. Everyone played terribly and Jamison no showed, we ran our offense through Dwight primarily tonight which should be our strategy, we attacked inside a lot which should be ouir strategy it just didnt work out and everyone played exhausted.

So now we got till Friday off. That was the 6th game in 9 days and the 5th in 7. Expected.

Like I said, tired legs. 6th game in 9 days and the 5th in 7. Not surprised that we played tired.

Use this loss to try to "justify" your fears, but I was expecting it to go more or less the way it did. One does not simply play 35 minutes and then show up in phoenix hours later with fresh legs in their 5th game on 7 nights. They may be professionals but they ain't super human, and no Kobe to cover it when everyone else was spent? Yeah, bad game was expected.

Yeup. I believe in those last 4 games/losses in Phoenix, the Suns averaged 105 pts/game. Laker defense simply does not show up in Phoenix :hmm:

Oh well. That 7-man rotation by this coach of theirs is killer on this old ass team. These three days of rest will be like Christmas to them. I just hope they don't show up "rusty" on Friday against Washington.
