duh .. they can win these games without him. Plus I think he can hurt the team more than he can help them if he plays. He'll chuck some shots and he will miss them and he won't play good defense. Kobe needs to rest for at least one week. He'll make an impact from the bench

The games are winnable without him, though neither the Lakers nor Utah have a particularly tough schedule the rest of the way and it is very tight.

He plays for that 8 year old boy who only goes to one game a year with his blue collar day and they wanna see Kobe when they pay for a ticket.

I disagree, sir. Utah has a lot of tough games left: vs the Knicks, Rockets, Spurs, Thunder and a bunch of games vs Portland which are all 50/50 games. Our schedule is a little bit easier, but we must not lose focus because of that ..

Yeah, Utah has some pretty tough games coming up. I know the Knicks are tanking, but the Thunder, Rockets, Spurs are all coming up in a very short stretch here.
And I would sit Kobe for at least these next two, see how the team does. If they can handle SAC and PHX, let him rest the entire week. Thank god we have this little easy run of games here, with 3 days off between

He needs rest. He's using up his reserve energy because the team fell into a deep hole and he has to pull them out. Now that Pau is coming back soon and we are facing easy teams, this is the perfect time to rest him.

Kobe should rest. The next seven are very favorable and this is the luxury of having Dwight/Nash.
We should still be able to knock off teams like the Kings, Suns, and Wizards for example.
This forces the team to not rely on Kobe like they have been.

bring back goudlock on a 10 day. boys been killing it in the D league (I know it's not the same, but he's shown he can score in the bigs as well)

If those games are favorable we would have been in a better position if we won the winnable games .. Don't fool yourselves..
I know things changed since late January but we cant afford hanging on the 8th spot while Utah is not far from us.. We have like 15 games i think, and we'll be playing against Rockets, Spurs , Memphis and Clippers .. We have to make sure we win the next three games, if kobe's healthy play him but decrease the minutes.. He's presence is valuable..

The Kings always play us very tough even with Kobe. I wouldn't call it a for sure. As Sacramento always sseems to play at a high leve against us.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often
