Pau doesn't have "earn" [expletive]. He's a two time champion and all-world player. Just stop.
and....check the numbers from the last two playoff runes. Those are 2 time champion numbers.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Surprise, surprise...Kobe doesnt play and we get a quality road win. Called it. Look how many players were having quality games tonight because they were involved and it wasn't just Kobe dominating the ball the whole night. It energized them on defense and on offense. Jamison, MWP, Dwight, Nash and Steve Blake were all great tonight. If Kobe misses more time, don't be surprised if we get some more quality games in. Obviously not saying we are a better team without Kobe, but that when Kobe sits (just like last year) it allows people to actually get into their games.

For little stretches, getting more opportunities can re-invigorate teams. The Spurs dominated OKC without Tony Parker. The Celtics have looked better at times without Rondo. But in the long run, no way are they better. Metta and Blake usually don't contribute much even when they have gotten lots of opportunities over the years in LA. Not only does other players get more opportunities, but the sense of urgency rises up.

If Pau can be back Sunday or Monday, we could maybe get away with resting Kobe all the way up until we play the Wizards on Friday. This is a really forgiving stretch of the schedule for us fortunately. We should be able to handle the Kings without him, same goes for Phoenix (although they play us tough). We need him as healthy as possible for the home stretch, and we need the other guys to step up for a couple games until then.

Why is he replacing Clark? Just why?
Because Earl Clark is barely producing in the starting lineup. The days in which he put up double-doubles are gone.
Arguably the greatest franchise ever

I think we honestly might get worse with Pau returning. Pau at PF on defense is just a disaster. His individual and help defense at that position just may be some of the worst in the league at PF. Jamison and Clark aren't the greatest defenders, but Pau is just non-existent. He looks lost on rotations.
He doesn't help much on offense at PF either when he's not knocking down mid-range jumpshots.

Yea but everyone here thinks he's gonna be some different player now and be better than clark. Clark in a slump > gasol. Clark may not be scoring allot but hes getting rebounds and playing decent defense.

You clearly said "Lately". And as of "Lately" it's been Kobe that's bailing us out. You're clearly singaling him out (we know you don't like him because you hate the fact that he's better than Magic Johonson)
Dwight Howard had his share of digging us in holes with his lack of effort.
Steve Nash with his on and off shooting.
MWP should be blamed for a lot of our struggles.
Pau Gasol and his pillow-ness like nature.
D'Antoni and his ego.
Thanks for that moment of sanity......however brief...lol ![]()

We are a plus 500 team with Pau on the floor

Against a team that doesn't run and has a very hard time scoring AGAINST EVERYONE!!
The 76ers just beat them....they can't score
Before making statements like this maybe you should state all of the variables that may have asisted in the outcome of the game....not just cherry picked generalizations

Were an even higher percentage team with him on the bench or when he was out sense his last injury. Nash and blake being injured and dwight being a shadow of himself for so long is the main reason were only 8th seed.
