So if Kobe doesn't play our starting lineup is
Nash
Meeks
Clark
Metta
Dwight?
Meh we have enough talent to do some damage, the problem is we got two streaky shooters in that lineup. If they're on, awesome, if not.. Bad..
Indiana ain't a high scoring team though so I say if Dwight can play we toss it to him and let him do what he can and play 4 out 1 in. Gonna have to take a page out of the Orlando Magick4 book
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Taking Tony Parker to recover 4 weeks from a sprain.
I wonder how long is a severely sprain recovery time.

Kobe's not even sugarcoating it, I figured it would be something like this. If it's a bad sprain, he could be out for a week or two. Indiana injury forced him to miss one game back then, only a few days, but I daresay he won't heal as quickly as he did at 21. Hopefully he doesn't try to play on it if it's that bad. Last thing we need is further aggravation of that ankle on our 34-year old superstar.

Will Kobe play Friday vs. Indy? "I don't know." He was very down, said it was his worst sprain since 2000. #Lakers

Damn it why sprain? not strain god damn, it takes so long to heal sprained ankle ~_~
Those terms are used interchangibly. Either way he would need res, ice, & compression. He'll be good keep him rested for 3-5 days.

There are three grades to ankle sprains: mild, moderate and severe. The Lakers are calling Kobe's left ankle a severe sprain.

Sounds like Kobe is definitely out next game. And, nobody comes back from injury and plays a back to back. So, he'll probably be back on Monday against the Suns at the earliest.
It's a good thing the Jazz's schedule is so tough the next 4 games, but I thought it would be a good opportunity for the Lakers to separate themselves from them.

Wow, you can clearly tell that Jones blatantly put his foot there.

Happened when it was a 2 point game.. Dirty freaking Hawks.

Looking at it, he looks like he intentionally tried to get underneath him. He wasn't even close to stopping short of him.

Yep. And Jones has the nerve to say that Kobe lost his balance by kicking his leg out, which therefore caused him to sprain his ankle on the floor. You can easily see where Kobe's foot lands on the back/heel part of Jones' shoe before it even touches the floor.
