@mcten: Kobe worked out on the floor for approximately 15 minutes just now, with Gary Vitti observing. "Looked OK" according to a source

Okay this guy is insane.

What's incredible is that John Ireland said on the radio that as of last night, Kobe couldn't even walk.

Kobe wants to play tonight? That's...amazing...

Then again we know Kobe doesn't play. When the ankle when its 100 percent. He'll play when he's able to play on the ankle without risking hurting it further. So basically he'll play on it if he can put weight on it and if it won't get worse.

I heard he still has that ball on his ankle! What if someone hits it if he drives in or something?

Don't do it Mamba.. Take the next two games and chill.

I have the utmost faith in Gary Vitti though. We're lucky to have him and Judy Seto taking care of the team. Best in pro sports in my opinion.

If he thinks he can play, I'm more than happy to have him on the court for us. We are in a tight playoff battle. Don't let off the gas just because we have a spot in it right now.

Stahp it Kobe.

If he plays tonight, it's to set an example and light an even bigger fire under everyone on this team's ass after that stupid loss.

This game is going to be interesting regardless. Will show a lot about our team, Kobe or no Kobe.

RT @LakersNation: From @LAIreland on @ESPNLA710 - "You can safely assume that (Kobe's) going to try and play."

This is Kobe, guys. You know he's a stubborn mofo. That's what he does. That being said, it's not wise to push it while he's in that condition. Especially for an away game against Pacers.

Hope it doesn't backfire. If he does suit up, he should look to play decoy.

Agreed. Plus we're playing a really strong defensive team in Indiana so he will have to work hard to get his.

We're not going to win. No point in wasting his effort/health.
