Definitely was enjoying himself before the game with his teammates and getting into the moment of the game. Was probably very evident at this point he was gonna go out there and start having "fun" like we're used to seeing.
That or returning to Orlando allowed him to reabsorb his Superman powers that were left there in the playoffs waiting for him to return. Take your pick
Even got dap and a salute from Bernie. Very nice!
But really psychologically facing this, his old team, the atmosphere, AND hack-a-dwight in the same night and conquering and DOMINATING them all, could have just done wonders for him far as the rest of the season goes. Lets hope he saved his energy for the back to back today!
Nash seems to think it's helped

Dwight said today is part of him maturing "as a player and as a person -- and I'm happy."
That is what he needed to do, and what Kobe prepared him to do.
When asked what "talk" Kobe had with Dwight prior to the game, Kobe made it very simple what his message was to Dwight.
The Mamba gave Dwight one mission before they went through that curtain. "Kill them.". Dwight Howard, complied.
