Maybe this is exactly how Kobe wants it?

As it stands now, the lakers are a deeply flawed team.
They can play their hearts out, and still on many nights its going to come down to Kobe vs everyone else.
I think that's what Kobe likes, what he wants.
He likes having his teammates count on him
He likes having the pressure
He likes having everyone on the other team and in the building, know Kobe is going to get the ball, and that no one can stop him.
Even middling teams create matchup problems vs the lakers
Every night it can come down to Kobe
And that's the way he likes it
17 years in, and still at the top of his game
That's why other x-nba players hate on him, cause they were retired ringless and no one wanted them by their 17th season
And every team in the nba would still give Kobe a max contract
Dude is on another level

Umm no. If you can blow a team out you blow a team out.

As much as I agree with everything you say, I believe he'd rather have the Lakers on track with 60 wins than 2 games above the .500

RIP Dad. I miss you so very much...

Yes, I'm sure the season goes exactly as Kobe planned it.

Or in other words, he's willing to take the pressure in close games if it came down to that point, but do you actually think he wants it to be like this ?
82 games is a lot of playing time, and to have or want close games is not suitable for a 34 years old whose legs need to be rested for the playoffs.

Kobe loves big moments but no way he wants this drama. Dude needs rest.

I think Kobe would like to win a title this season especially after the turmoil and with comments from guys like Charles Barkley

lol don't think he cares about Charles, but it would be awesome for him to win a title this season after all this drama, and it would put him top 5

You don't have him there already? Let me guess, you have him top ten? Why, because MJ said so?

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often
