"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."

He will be missed. I understand about the 6th round pick too, every team in the league knew that the Ravens only option was to have him take a pay cut or release him. Don't know who is going to take his place but I'm sure we'll find someone.

^ That was Seattles biggest win....Besides barely being able to beat a team with an injured RG3 lol....

Fantastic move. 9ers just getting scarier meanwhile no Lewis & no Boldin for Ravens now, both huge losses.

Receiver Anquan Boldin may not be the only Ravens player who joins the 49ers.
A league source with extensive knowledge of the current safety market believes that the 49ers could land Ravens safety Ed Reed.
As Albert Breer of NFL Network first reported on Twitter (as best we can tell), Reed has indeed hired David Dunn of Athletes First. Now that Reed has an agent, the agent can talk to teams in advance of the start of free agency at 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
The fact that Reed is in play for the Niners means that Dashon Goldson isn’t. Goldson is expected to be the hottest free agent on the safety market. Reed may not be the hottest, but he may be the next big name to join one of the hottest teams in the league.

Bigger get was Percy Harvin for Seattle. If he cures those migraines. lol

Reed and Boldin both past primes. Doesn't make me fear SF any more.
They are, but so what? They're still extremely effective. Recognize.

Reed is a GOAT.
Boldin never reached his potential.
But both are old and have had injury problem. Numbered days.
Those signings don't get me scared.
Harvin in the slot in Seattle could be deadly. Tate and that (other guy from the Vikings) to stretch the field. Plus Lynch? solid. Especially if Wilson takes a step forward in his development.

this. They shoulda resigned Moss as the 3rd option in all honesty. Would have been cheaper and less of a headache. Now Boldin/Davis/Crabtree gotta fight for receptions. And that means less receptions for each. And that means smaller paydays come FA.
Boldin was great in a offense with Flacco throwing the ball 50x per game. But SF doesnt do that with Gore and kap running around. SF will throw 25 x. 30 max. So the ball touches get more limited. Hows Crabtree feeling about what some view as a demotion?
Crabtree held out on signing his draft contract with SF because.....he wanted more money.
Past his prime Boldin was basically released by Baltimore because.....he wanted more money.
Even most of my good friends that are 49ers fan are waiting to see what happens with this acquisition. And I will quote a few of them:
"if nothings broke don't fix it".
"It seems that Harbaughs made so many moves that eventually somethings got to backfire"
"So we have a OC, QB and now a WR learning whatever our game plan is going to be, thats a lot of learning when your trying to get your core back to the Super Bowl"

^ Too much probably unecessary worrying there. Yes, there are certainly some valid to potentially valid points there, but at the end of the day, they're just gonna' play. Too much talent there and an awesome coach, who will keep everyone in check and in the right direction. They'll be fine. It's more so that some people just sorta want to see them fail.
