He also talked about how the Jazz really had a 3 game lead because of the tie-breaker and "if the Jazz get this win tonight . . . "
Ha!

Just watch
ESPN is not going to mention Kobe's performance and the Lakers comeback. They will be to busy talking about LeBron's game-winning layup against terrible defense.

This. Kobe is 34 hit a game winner a few nights ago and then drops 18 in the fourth with a stat line of 42, 7, and 12 but will be on for 2 mins while they spend half the episode on how Lebron is clutch. I hate the media.

Gotta give credit where its due, that was one of the most brilliant out of bounds plays ive ever seen.
Its like the hidden ball trick in baseball lol
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Having the tie breaker is like having another half game, in that sense, he is right.

Gotta hand it to Dwight as well. The block on Lopez was the play of the game.

We know but its very unlikely that that will matter right now. They have lost 2 games they needed to win to have a chance to keep there 8th seed and are about to face a lot of top tier teams. Right now utah will be lucky to win 41 games

It all matters right now.

I don't see what's so special about the play. Kobe just got to an open spot.

The play wasn't special, the defense was inane.

What is your point? If we won 16 straight and are the defending champs I'm sure we'd be on the front page as well. .500 ball isn't front page worthy material.

The reason why it was smart is because most teams expect them just to try to get the ball and get fouled but having everyone on the other side of the court confused the defense and bam kobe wide open.
Would this have worked on a elite team like the heat...probably not but against a team like the hornets this was an extremely smart play.
