We do not need Pau. We are winning without him. We do need Jordan Hill though.
WTF????
Pau should come off the bench, but so should Ron.
Howard
Clark
Bryant
Meeks
Nash

Pau is gonna come off the bench. He'll finish games if he's playing well otherwise he'll sit. Also if Hack a Dwight is being used you might see him in for Dwight at Center

I basically said it in occurance with Majesty that Pau should only play as the back up. Right now, I think Dwight is finally starting to get comfortable.WTF????

I'll be happy to have Pau back. I still want him gone, but having him is better than nothing. There are stretches when the offense is too stagnant, having him as a scoring option down low will be a big plus. Also we need his size, today at one point in the game we had Jamison and Clark guarding Noah and Boozer respectively. Yikes. Luckily it didn't hurt us this time.

Come off the bench, and dominate from the inside when he's on the floor
nothing will change.

That's why starting lineup when we are healthy. That's one of, if not, the most athletic and best defensive front court.

Pau Gasol will come off the bench and reduce Dwight Howard minutes possible up to 30 - 32 minutes only so that Dwight Howard won't aggravate his shoulder but Pau Gasol won't be a bench player in the 4th quarter.
"If I can do it tomorrow I won't do it today!"

Honestly, I don't understand the hate towards Pau..
I mean obviously we can trade him so just accept what it is.
When he played off the bench as 6th man he was pretty solid and began to fit into his role.
He will be huge help and will probably now accept his role.
Yeah his production isn't worth 19 million, but his return will make the team better.

Pau is an insurance.
He'll provide instant offense (upgrade, really) when Dwight has an off-night on the offensive end.... which happens quite frequently

I'm sure the joke has be said....."whatever way Kobe sees fit"
Really though
Pau's minutes will be limitted anyway. It will take awhile for him to be at full strenght....So its off the bench
Creates more match up problems for the other teams....IMO

So next year when hill comes back we are gonna use Pau at backup center and Hill at back up PF? And put Clark or Metta at the 3? That's [expletive]ing solid as [expletive]. No spacing but Pau never needed that much spacing like Dwight does. Hopefully Metta turns in to a good wing player who is a knockdown shooter and plays defense (trade not talking about Metta as a player)
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Thats probably going to be the case as Jamison will likely go to Charlotte to retire next season.
Which means shall dwight and clark resign, our lineup is
Nash
Kobe
Clark
Metta/Hill
Dwight
And our bench is
Blake
Meeks
(Starter)
Hill/Metta
Gasol
With space for a 3 like Martell Webster whom the Lakers should go after in the off-season to come off the bench most likely.
pau and/or metta will be gone by next year

I think a few things are a must:
Using amnesty on MWP
Keeping Nash, Meeks and Kobe as our main back-court guys
Signing a mini-midlevel wing who can shoot 3s and/or defend (Like Kyle Korver or Martell Webster)
Other than that i think we have two options going forward:
1) Base our frontcourt around Howard, Pau, Clark and Hill
or
2) Base our frontcourt around Howard, Clark, Hill, Jameson and get whatever we can for Pau.

Lol @ the suggestion that Nash leaves. Its going to be either Gasol or Artest gone in the off season, hopefully both.
