OH?!

Well if we want a rebounder... We can just sign a rebounding specialist FOR MUCH CHEAPER?! NOT 120 MILLION DOLLARS, DON'T YOU THINK?

lol disrespecting a superstar. When healthy, he plays arguably the best defense in the league. Give you 20+ points and 10+ rebounds. He has a torn labrum and is still conditioning himself from back surgery.. You really need to think before you criticize someone. He will get 120 mill whether you like it or not. And btw I'm talking about Pau Gasol upping our rebounds not d12.

I really don't care about his offense. We don't need it. I just want to see him contesting shots.

He's been contesting shots all year. Top 5 in blocks coming off back surgery.

Stopping him so easily they don't even mildly entertain the thought of using the Hack-A-Dwight anymore.

Reading some of the replys in this thread along with the boxscore, I guess I'm glad it was my dad's birthday today and we went out to for his bday dinner.

But am I reading this right? 71 points in the first half for OKC? 2 turnovers for OKC for the ENTIRE game when OKC is second to last in the league in TOs/game? Westbrook 15-29 from the field finishing with 37 points. Who the hell was supposed to be guarding those dick sucking lips? 10 points for Fisher. 10 points for this Reggie Jackson guy.

Was there no resistance by LA whatsoever defensively and OKC just did whatever they wanted out there or something? Someone fill me in.

We did better in the second half. Good defense up until the two minute mark in the 4th quarter. Brought it down to 5. 12-0 run in final two minutes by thunder.

No resistance from the tipoff in the first half whatsoever. Second half was better. It was honestly a miracle we were within 5 with 5 minutes left. The Thunder had 2 turnovers, Dwight was 1/7 without taking a single shot in the second half, Ron made his every game dumbass plays, bench gave us absolutely nothing. If we play the way we played in the second half we'll be fine tomorrow.

I hope you didn't catch the last 3 minutes of the game when we were down by only 5.  I think having a gynecologist working on you is less painful then watching that last 3 minutes of the game.

Thanks guys.

I managed to sneak in a couple glances at my phone on ESPN's Gamecast. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the score 111-105 with a couple minutes left?

I wasn't entirely expecting the Lakers to win this one in probably the toughest arena in the league, but I felt that if the Lakers gave themselves a chance, they would take it. Lakers should take tomorrow's game against NO, but my gut is telling me otherwise.

It won't be easy that's for sure. New Orleans will want revenge for the past couple games against us. That's what worries me. So we need to hope that our guys take note of this and come out focused tomorrow. It's gonna be a challenge getting a win tomorrow just like it was in Dallas but if we have the right attitude we'll be fine.

Oh and it was 110-105 with 5 minutes left. We didn't score again.

First 5.5 minutes of the game plus last 5.5 minutes of the game equal 0 field goals.

Funny.

There is no game day thread AND League Pass (app version) is messed up and has the timberwolves game in place of the Lakers.
