There was a recent report from Sports Interactive Network Philippines that former Lakers center DJ Mbenga was offered a contract by Ginebra of the PBA to replace Jordan, who was off to the Lakers on a 10-day contract.
The Lakers have denied having a contract in place with Jordan, but the move by the D-Fenders suggests the team might have at least a cursory interest in the 26-year-old Jamaican center.

He's 7ft I guess another big body won't hurt, rather have a sf though.

I find this odd. I saw Pincus tweet that the D-Fenders acquired him but why offer Jordan a ten day contract when we have Sacre who plays well in his short time on the court.

So he's a hustle big man with a back to the basket game and knows how to set screens off post passes.

Guess we'll see what he can do. Don't think it hurts us.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

Lol his playstyle is similar. Don't think he'll be as goof. But heck, 5 points and 5 rebounds is helpful for our bench if he could manage that in limited minutes its gravy.

Think he's just a body to challenge dwight in practice but we'll see.

Maybe he can help teach Dwight how to stop costing us games at the free throw line.
